WAS THE LUXURY CRUISE SHIP ‘CAP ARCONA’, FILLED WITH JEWISH REFUGEES, SUNK BY THE RAF, BECAUSE…?
The Cap Arcona
On the third of May, 1945, with the end of WWII only days away, a squadron of British Typhoon Fighter Bombers attacked and sank three civilian passenger ships in the Neustädter Bucht, close to the North German city of Lübeck. These ships were the Deutschland, Thielbek and the Cap Arcona.
None of the three ships were armed with any sort of weaponry, and they posed no threat to Allied Military Operations or personell, but they were filled with around 10.000 Prisoners that Reichsführer SS Heinrich Himmler had ordered be taken from concentration camps in the north of Germany and be put on board these three ships. As well as the prisoners there were a sufficient staff of German guards and medical personnel on board.
The British attack sank all three passenger ships and although the ships put up no defence the British fighters continued to fire upon the thousands of people left floundering in the water, more than 7.000 people died in the attack.
Nobody has yet come forward with any reasonable explanation of why the Reichsführer SS had ordered the prisoners to be put on these ships, and nor have the British given any good reason for their mass murder of these people. The only explanations I have heard for this incident border on the ridiculous. For example, Himmler intended to send the ships out to sea and scuttle them, to rid himself of the troublesome prisoners. This explanation also doesn’t explain why the Reichsführer would want to drown hundreds of his own men and medical staff.
The only explanation the British Royal Airforce has ever given for the attack was, “A mistake was made and in war these things happen.”
That was the only explanation the British have given for the pre-planned mass murder of over 7,000 people. Imagine if the SS had given that answer to the Nuremburg Courts!!
A few days ago I was re-reading an article an American friend of mine had written regarding some research he had done in an Israeli Museum regarding the (clandestine) emigration of European Jews to Palestine prior to WW2 starting.
While reading his research a light suddenly went on in my mind, for me there was suddenly a very good reason why Reichsführer SS H. Himmler had put these 10.000 people onto large Passenger liners and a very uncomfortable reason why the RAF sank these ships.
It’s a fairly well known fact of History that before and during WW2 the German authorities worked together with World Zionist groups to assist as many European Jews to emigrate to Palestine as possible.
The Zionist Jews in Germany had a promise from the English Govt in the form of the Balfour Declaration, promising them British support.
In the mid 30’s the German Emigration Programs—that is, Havaara Agreement and the Rhublee-Wohltat efforts—were all going well and to plan, but all of a sudden and apparently for no good reason the British Govt suddenly put a naval blockade into place and stopped all further migration???? What had happened? Well two things had occurred.
The American Jews, had suddenly noticed that their powerful and all encompassing sphere of influence in Europe was being diminished at an alarming rate and if it kept going they would lose ‘control’ over their rich and massive European Empires.
The second thing that had occurred was that the Arabs in Palestine had noticed they were being flooded by better educated and richer European Jews who were starting to ‘ take over’ Palestine. The Arabs then demanded the British called a halt to the emigration and threatened to cut off all OIL Supplies to Great Britain should they continue. The Pressure bought to bear on the British Govt from these two groups was just too much. They had to stop the migration, hence the Naval Blockade.
What is not made available to the Public and hardly mentioned by Historians, that know the truth, is, that despite the British Naval Blockade many hundreds of thousands of Jews still continued to head for Palestine, even during the war. Research shows that up to one million of them succeeded.
Now I quote a few passages from the research my American friend had uncovered in the Israeli Immigration and Naval Museum.
“From Sept. 1939 until the end of August 1944, at least twenty-six Jewish refugee ships [according to the accounting of a book published by the Israeli Ministry of Defense] left Axis-occupied Europe bound for Palestine.”
Many of the ships were both overcrowded and not seaworthy. Three of these twenty- six ships, the Struma, Lily and the Mafkura were attacked and sunk by Soviet submarines in the Black Sea. Another ship, the Patria, was already in Palestine and was being used by the British as a holding facility for the Jewish refugees who had arrived from Europe on other ships. The Patria, ironically enough, was sunk by a Haganah sabotage team in Haifa harbor, only a few kilometers distance from the present location of the Clandestine Immigration and Naval Museum.
Two further ships earlier used for emigration purposes, the Thielbeck and the Cap Arcona, loaded with Jewish refugees, but which were not bound for Palestine when attacked, were sunk in the closing days of the War in the Baltic by British aircraft.
Amazingly, none of these six ‘purposefully sunk Jewish refugee ships’ were sunk by the Germans or their allies.
In addition, to those six Jewish refugee ships that were purposefully sunk, several other un-seaworthy craft floundered, and several more were captured by British naval units.
Do you now see the pattern that is emerging? His research shows that the Cap Arcona and Thielbek had earlier already been used to ferry Jews to Palestine and secondly NONE of the refugee ships were ever attacked or sunk by the Germans or their Allies, so WHY should Heinrich Himmler want to sink the Thielbek and Cap Arcona and the Deutschland.
On the other hand, the Soviets, the Zionists and their buddies the British had already been busily sinking refugee ships and killing Jews by the thousands.

You see the Reichsführer KNEW THE REAL REASON WHY he had ordered 10.000 Prisoners to be evacuated by ship. Possibly he had also refused to sign a statement put in front of him by his British Torturers (as Rudolf Hoess was forced to do). A statement like this most certainly would have been used against him in front of the Allied Kangaroo Courts at Nuremburg.
To sum up: Many thousands of Concentration Camp Prisoners had already been picked up from the Camps by the Swedish Red Cross and I believe the Reichsführer seriously intended to evacuate all those prisoners on the ships to a safe haven and the British were not prepared to allow that. By attacking them before the war ended, they could blame their deaths onto the Germans.
You don’t think the Allies would do a thing like that? My ‘parents-in-law’ have told me some horror stories that occurred in their small North German village after the war had finished. Polish and Soviet POWs who had worked on the farms in North Germany and were generally well fed and healthy, were picked up by Soviet Military Patrols and taken away on Trucks. Days later dozens of them were found dead in the surrounding forests and woods, they had been slaughtered by their own countrymen.
What did the British do with the Cossacks? What about the Promises and Guarantee the British made to Poland before the war, and then left the whole nation to the mercy of the Soviets.
The trouble between the British and Jews actually escalated after the war finished and nearly broke out into full scale war before Israel was given Nation status.
