Nickel
Rant (tm)
:
by Edgar J. Steele
January 7, 2008
My name is Edgar J. Steele. This is a Nickel Rant.
Fox News is owned and run by
foreigners. Fox News wants to dictate American policy, both foreign and
domestic. Fox News wants to tell you how to think. Fox News wants to
tell you what to think. Fox News wants to pick your next
President. Fox News is terrified by the thought of a Ron Paul
Presidency. F**k Fox News!
Some forgive. Some forget. Some do both. I do neither. I get even. Call it a weakness. Call it a Trial Lawyer thing. After all, I became a trial lawyer in order to get even. Why? I honestly don't know. I only know that it's what I do. I do it well, too. I've had lots of practice. In fact, when properly motivated, I get way more than even. Trust me: getting even in overwhelming measure can offer up some of life's most sublime moments. Let's get even. Maybe you don't know how. I was born to get even. I'll show you how. Legally, too. F**k Fox! Last night, Fox News presented its Republican Presidential Forum - you know, the one to which Fox refused to invite Ron Paul, the sole GOP candidate who has refused to kiss the hem of the CFR garment and who continues to rail against globalism and for America. Ron Paul, who regularly has polled higher than two of the candidates who were invited (14% in New Hampshire to Fred Thompson's 4% and 10% to Rudy Giuliani's Iowa 3%). Ron Paul, who has bested the field in every legitimate poll taken following past debates. Ron Paul, who has won outright most of the straw polls taken in the campaign thus far, throughout America. Ron Paul, who has throngs of enthusiastic, sign-waving supporters in places that other contenders don't even have signs. Ron Paul, whose campaign recently set the single-day, fund-raising record for all American politicians...ever. Fox News never mentions Ron Paul's name. It is as though Dr. Paul has become a non-person. Never does he appear in the candidate lists. Never do the anchors mention him. Fox News is boycotting Ron Paul. We can do the same thing to Fox News. Already, I have begun. I watched the Fox Forum last night for one reason only: I wanted to make a list of the sponsors so that I could give them to you today and suggest that you boycott them forever. What's more, tell those advertisers that is what you are doing. And tell your friends. Then do it. The sponsors made this Forum possible. They deserve it. So does Fox. F**k Fox! Don't ever watch Fox News again, so long as you live. I won't. It was easy for me: I just unchecked the box in the listing lineup on my satellite directory. Now I won't even be stumbling over it as I go from one channel to another. F**k Fox! Now, go ahead and do it. You know you want to. Say it right out loud. Trust me, you will feel better. Here, let's do it together, with feeling: F**k Fox! Boycott Sponsors Who Don't Play Fair ... Forever! Here are the 12 products advertised during the Fox News Forum (and the advertisers) to boycott: 1. Pampers diapers (Procter & Gamble) ( www.pampers.com ) 2. Mag-Lite Flashlights ( www.maglite.com ). 3. Abilify (bipolar disorder medication from Bristol-Myers Squibb) ( www.abilify.com ) (three ad slots during forum) 4. The Jewelry Exchange ( www.jewelryexchange.com ) 5. Planet Earth DVD set (BBC and Discovery Channel product) ( www.bbc.co.uk , www.discovery.com ) 6. Vytorin (anti-cholestoral medication from Merck-Schering Plough Pharmaceuticals) (www.vytorin.com ) (1-877-VYTORIN) (two ad slots during forum) 7. Nutrisystem (www.nutrisystem.com ) (1-877-975-DIET) (two ad slots during forum) 8. Gold Bond (Chattum) 423-821-4571 contact via webform at http://phx.corporate-ir.net/phoenix.zhtml?c=119581&p=irol-inforeq 9. Tempur-Pedic Beds (www.tempurpedic.com ) (1-800-615-8328) 10. Sprint Telephone 11. AIG car insurance (www.aigdirect.com ) (1-800-850-2642) 12. Fox News Channel Forever, folks. Forever. Never again buy any of these products or services. Deliver the message that those who facilitate this sort of censorship and propaganda will face consequences. Short Fox News' Parent Company Stock Here is something else to do that is both creative and potentially profitable: Foreigner and rabid neo-con Rupert Murdoch doesn't entirely own Fox News. He owns most of it, though, through something called News Corporation (www.newscorp.com) . Like most of his NWO cohorts, he has seen to the issuance of public stock so that he can further shear us sheep through corporate looting, which now is standard for officers and major shareholders like Murdoch. This morning, through my on-line broker, I shorted Newscorp stock (ticker symbol NWS) to the tune of 1,000 shares. If everybody reading this did the same thing, we could crater the company by the weekend, cost Murdoch billions and make a ton of money for ourselves in the process. Think about it. Email Fox News Here is an updated list of Fox News email addressees, formatted so that you need merely highlight them all and then paste them into the "To" slot of a complaining email. Do not include the words "Dr., Doctor, Ron or Paul" in the subject line, as the Fox News Channel server now is programmed to bounce all emails with such subject matter. Use something creative, like: "Time to update your resume, O'Reilly!" or "You Distort, We Destroy!" In fact, because of email filters, mask Dr. Paul's name in the body of the text, as well. Tell them what you are doing and why. If you like, merely cut and paste the text of the email message I dispatched to these addresses this morning (directly following the email addresses) with the subject line "You Decide, We Boycott." rnolte@newscorp.com; cfelenstein@newscorp.com; mregan@newscorp.com; alexandra.marinescu@fox.com; brian.peterson@fox.com; brian.lewis@foxnews.com; irena.briganti@foxnews.com; Chris.Bellitti@foxcable.com; thomas.tyrer@fox.com; americasnewsroom@foxnews.com ; Andrew.Napolitano@foxnews.com; Atlarge@foxnews.com; beltway@foxnews.com; Bigstoryweekend@foxnews.com; bill.oreilly@foxnews.com; brian.knoblock@foxnews.com; Brit.Hume@foxnews.com; bullsandbears@foxnews.com; cash@foxnews.com; Cavuto@foxnews.com; colonelscorner@foxnews.com; david.asman@foxnews.com ; Drmanny@foxnews.com; Fatherjonathan@foxnews.com; Feedback@foxnews.com; Fncimag@foxnews.com ; Fncspecials@foxnews.com; FNS@foxnews.com; Forbes@foxnews.com ; foxnewsonline@foxnews.com; Foxreport@foxnews.com; friends@foxnews.com; gretchen.carlson@foxnews.com; Hannity@foxnews.com; Hannityandcolmes@foxnews.com; Heartland@foxnews.com; Hemmer@foxnews.com; ian.rae@foxnews.com; Jamie@foxnews.com; jane.skinner@foxnews.com; JER@foxnews.com; john.moody@foxnews.com; kathy.ardleigh@foxnews.com; kilmeade@foxnews.com; Lineup@foxnews.com; Lisonlaw@foxnews.com; Martha@foxnews.com; Myword@foxnews.com; Newswatch@foxnews.com; Ontherecord@foxnews.com ; Oreilly@foxnews.com; redeye@foxnews.com; shepard.smith@foxnews.com; Special@foxnews.com; steve.doocy@foxnews.com; Studiob@foxnews.com; thom.bird@foxnews.com; todd.ciganek@foxnews.com; viewerservices@foxnews.com; yourcomments@foxnews.com; yourwordlive@foxnews.com; steverett@newscorp.com; rmurdoch@newscorp.com Hello, Fox News
belly-crawling, lickspittle lackey! You really hit a low last night
with your grotesquely unbalanced and unfair Republican Presidential
Candidate Forum, from which you excluded R, on P, aul. Just wanted to
let you know that, in response, I have done the following today: Call Fox News on the Phone Here is a list of Fox News phone numbers. Let's see if we can't get some of the Fox News affiliate (local station) FCC licenses pulled and assigned to people who play fair. The following comes from another correspondent who was enterprising enough to put together this information for us to use: By specifically targeting FCC
approvals, your comments will have a lot more long-term weight.
Endangering the local affiliate's license with enough negative comments in
the right way will change their attitude from "It's the network, nothing
we can do" and largely ignoring you to actually calling the NewsCorp on
your behalf saying "OMG, fix this NOW!" As an example, here is a message to a
Fox affiliate broadcasting station sent by another of my correspondents: Boycott and Harass the Rest of Fox News' Sponsors Join in on the boycott of other, general sponsors of Fox News Channel. A correspondent sent me the following list of some of Fox News' prime sponsors:
