American children not allowed on school bus because they speak English In what could only happen in America (or perhaps Canada, Australia, or somewhere in Europe, where folks have become so whacked out as a result of irrational guilt-complexes), a school bus driver refused to take home some children because they spoke English (which I thought was still the language of America). In this bizarre ethnic discrimination against English-speaking children, who attended a school in St. Paul, Minnesota, there was a bus-route designated for non-English speaking children. However, this route did not allow English-speaking children because they lived too far away. Of course, the school tried to justify it, suggesting that the set-up was OK and that the parent was somehow in error. After all, they felt that it's OK for English-speakers to trot a few miles to their special school, though non-English speakers were allowed to take a bus. If one group of folks are out of the school district, isn't the other group too? Truly, this land has become sickened. |
