Nixon, “Deep Throat,” and the Jewish Cabal How the Jews Destroyed Nixon By Mark Farrell http://www.HonestMediaToday.com/nixon_cabal.htm The Watergate scandal proved to be Nixon’s downfall. It was an event that shocked the nation, and knocked the President off his pedestal, demonstrating to the citizens that even a President is human. And it was also an event that revealed the machination of a group of Jews concertedly working in a near-feverish manner to unseat the man who held the highest office in the land.
The Watergate scandal began on an otherwise dismal morning, on June 17, 1972, when some high ranking Nixon-loyalists broke into the Democratic National Convention headquarters at about 2:30 AM to search for information and plant bugs.
Nixon was reportedly unaware of the whole situation at the time. Later, when he did become aware of it, he sought to help his campaign faithful, to cover their tracks.
Around that time, Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein, a couple of Jewish reporters from the Washington Post, came out with some revealing articles that exposed the whole nefarious ordeal, citing names, times, dates, places--all the dirty little details, from where it started, to where it ended.
The source for some of their articles was nicknamed “Deep Throat.” Some have suggested the sobriquet was given to the source as a result of his deep-sounding voice, while others have suggested it was because many high-ranking officials deemed the source to be a real c**k-sucker, with a porno-movie made around that time, based on that very concept, with the same name.
The “Deep Throat” source--former FBI agent Mark Felt, a Jew who was second-in-command of the FBI at the time--has now come forward after years of silence.
Who were these people that worked to unseat Nixon? And why did they work together so well, destroying Nixon’s presidency?
It appears that there was a bond between these people who worked cohesively--beyond a mere story--for they gathered together, as if a “Jewish cabal,” as Nixon would have said, to destroy his career forever.
Nixon had long complained about a Jewish cohesiveness in the upper-echelons of the government. He had once brought Fred Malek to his office in order to discuss just that: A “Jewish cabal” in the Bureau of Labor Statistics.(1) Of course, Jews have long argued that Nixon was merely full of hate in such remarks, and that they were incapable of any group cohesion in such matters despite the large portion of Jews involved in those matters at the time. Thirteen of thirty-five people (about 37 percent) cited by Nixon in this department were Jewish, despite only being 2 percent of the general population.(2) Was the adage cited by Mark Twain true here? “There are three types of lies: Lies, Damn Lies, and Statistics,” as Twain had once remarked.
It is certain that Jews were upset with Nixon, and worked to see his downfall. With a certainty and confidence from experience, Nixon could not help but notice that Washington “is full of Jews.” Continuing, he remarked that there were some decent Jews among his aides.(3) But this was not necessarily true of all, as he noted to Bob Haldeman:
"Most Jews are disloyal. . . . But, Bob, generally speaking, you can't trust the bastards. They turn on you. Am I wrong or right?"(4)
Haldeman concurred with Nixon:
"Their whole orientation is against you. In this administration, anyway. And they are smart. They have the ability to do what they want to do--which is to hurt us."(5)
In politics, Nixon could not help but notice the great number of Jews who were involved in the pro-Communist movement:
"The only two non-Jews in the communist conspiracy," [Nixon] said, "were [Whittaker] Chambers and [Alger] Hiss. Many felt that Hiss was. He could have been a half, but he was not by religion. The only two non-Jews. Every other one was a Jew. And it raised hell with us.”(6)
America’s Israel-first Jews were particularly disturbed by many of Nixon’s comments. He had once remarked,
“I'm not pro-Israel; I'm not going to let Israel's tail wag the dog."(7)
Of course, despite having said the above, it must be noted that Nixon did let the “tail wag the dog”--at least a little--when he bailed Israel out in the 1973 war. Despite his feelings for putting America’s interests ahead of Israel’s, even he was undoubtedly influenced by Israel’s strong political campaign, which has since been revealed in-depth by Congressman Paul Findley and others.(8)
Nixon also felt that the media were mostly Jewish. He once promulgated:
"[T]here may be some truth in that if the Arabs have some complaints about my policy towards Israel, they have to realize that the Jews in the U.S. control the entire information and propaganda machine, the large newspapers, the motion pictures, radio and television, and the big companies. And there is a force that we have to take into consideration."(9)
At another time, Nixon Chief of Staff H.R. Haldeman described such typical discussions behind-the-scenes in the White House:
"There was considerable discussion of the terrible problem arising from the total Jewish domination of the media, and agreement that this was something that would have to be dealt with."(10)
Of course, his observations have long since been proven beyond the shadow of a doubt. Even attorney and researcher Ben Stein, a Jew, has pointed this out in an article that told all the dirty little details. Likewise, from a non-Jewish perspective, many others have pointed these facts out as well. For instance, Kevin Strom’s piece about “Who Rules America?” remains uncontested from a logical standpoint of where the facts stand, describing the vast number of--what should be labeled--“the Jewish media barons.”
It is important to recognize that Nixon was hardly the only American leader to have such observations. Perhaps, it was not merely anti-Jewish bigotry, as many Jews surmise, that fueled Nixon’s talk but, rather, an honest portrayal of American politics and many of the Jews’ Israel-first alliances. Generals, presidents, statesmen, America’s founders and numerous others have long exhibited similar sentiment to Nixon, if not worse. For instance, John Quincy Adams, a signer of the Declaration of Independence, once stated that Jews were “wretched creatures” and that they would “steal your eyes out if they could.”(11) Thomas Jefferson once stated that Jewish “ethics were not only imperfect, but often irreconcilable with the sound dictates of reason and morality, as they respect intercourse with those around us; and repulsive and anti-social, as respecting other nations. They need reformation, therefore, in an eminent degree."(12) Even President Truman once declared that when Jews “have power--physical, financial or political--neither Hitler nor Stalin has anything on them for cruelty or mistreatment to the underdog.” At another time, Truman stated, “Jesus Christ couldn't please them when he was on earth, so how could anyone expect that I would have any luck?”(13)
Similarly, not too long after Nixon’s controversy, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff George S. Brown noted Jewish-influence--with the Jews’ virtual Israel-first dictatorship over Washington--as well when he spoke to Duke University on October 10, 1975:
“…[W]e have the Israelis coming to us for equipment. We say we can't probably get the Congress to support a program like this. And they say, 'Don't worry about the Congress. We will take care of the Congress.' This is somebody from another country. But they can do it. They own--you know--the banks in this country, the newspapers. Just look at where the Jewish money is."(14)
American Jewry demanded that Brown resign for telling the truth about their nefarious activities. Noticing this with deep concern, General M.B. Twining, a hero of WWII and the Korean War who was Commander of the U.S. Air Force, reportedly told the San Diego Union:
"A group of powerful U.S. Jews have grotesquely distorted U.S. foreign policy in blind fanatic support of Israel, and Gen. Brown deserves praise, not criticism, for saying so. As head of our nation's armed forces, he sees us--a nation of 200 million people--being dragooned into a disastrous war . . . by a ruthless lobby of Jewish-American extremists single-mindedly bent on enforcing their rule or ruin policy in the Middle East."(15)
It is important to notice that Nixon was hardly the only government leader to harbor such feelings, and that many others have recognized this “Jewish cabal” that promotes an Israel-first policy in the U.S. It helps to explain the vast number of Jews that subsidize the Republican and Democrat parties, and also helps to explain why Bush and Clinton before him have Jewish cabals of their own, despite Jews only being a miniscule fraction of America’s electorate. And it helps to make sense of the whole situation surrounding Nixon--with Woodward, Felt, Bernstein, and other Jews working concertedly to unseat Nixon, and how Woodward, a young Jewish man just out of college, even got his first job.
Bob Woodward, while working at the Washington Post, was instrumental to the Nixon’s downfall. He was first hired by the Post in about 1970. He went to the metropolitan editor, Harry Rosenfeld, and asked for a job. At the time, Woodward said, “I had zero – zero! –experience.” Nevertheless, Rosenfeld hired him for a short period to try him out, and then gave him a full-time job some time later.(16)
Mark Felt graduated from night law school at George Washington University in the 1930s, and later worked as an aide to an Idaho senator. Eventually, he graduated with a degree in law, and went to work for the Federal Trade Commission, where one of his first important assignments was to determine if a particular brand of toilet paper was being unfairly marketed.(17)
With his toilet paper under his seat, he was a natural candidate for the FBI. He excelled there, and eventually became head of what was known as the “goon squad,” a division of the FBI that made sure its offices were adhering to procedures.(18)
It appears that Felt was quick to call others names, if he perceived them as competition. For instance, Tom Charles Huston, a Nixon-appointee, had developed plans to monitor “domestic security threats.” Felt labeled Huston a “gauleiter,” which means “the leader or chief official of a political district under Nazi control.” Whether due to Felt’s influence, Hoover’s objections, or other reasons, Huston’s plans fell apart a mere four days after they began when Nixon stopped it.(19)
Bob Woodward said that Felt “thought the Nixon team were Nazis.” During the Nixon years, Felt actively worked to “stop efforts by others in the bureau,” remarked Woodward, “to open a file on every member of Students for a Democratic Society [SDS].”(20) The SDS was an organization--contrary to its name--that appears to have had some members in the past involved with domestic terrorism.
Felt seemed to be working vigorously with Woodward in an effort to discredit Nixon’s campaign. Of course, it could not be done without the poor ethics of Nixon’s campaign itself. For instance, Felt gave Woodward information about Vice President Spiro Agnew reportedly putting a bribe of $2,500 in his desk.(21) Woodward passed this information on to Richard Cohen, a writer at the Washington Post too, though Woodward didn’t reveal that FBI agent Felt was the source.
Despite Felt’s hidden work to destroy Nixon, Felt was nevertheless surprised when Nixon chose someone loyal to him, L. Patrick Gray III, to replace FBI head J. Edgar Hoover, when he passed away. Felt thought that he deserved the position, since he was next in line to Hoover, and shared many things with Hoover. For instance, Felt was believed in strong-arm tactics, such as his illegal wiretappings; and, like Felt, some believed Hoover to be Jewish, too.(22)
Shortly after Hoover’s demise, Arthur H. Bremer shot Alabama Gov. George Wallace, who was running for president. Wallace’s life was destroyed by Bremer, and Wallace chances of gaining presidency were also utterly ruined. He became crippled.
Nixon felt bad for Wallace, feeling that what occurred to him was certainly undeserved. Felt, on the other hand, seemed concerned about Wallace’s would-be-assassin being “roughed up” and hospitalized. The contrast between Nixon and Felt in this matter seemed great: while Nixon cared, Felt might have seemed dispassionate, at the least. Nixon remarked,
“Well, it’s too bad they didn’t really rough up the son of a bitch [Bremer]!”(23)
In contrast to this, Woodward remarked that “Felt was offended that the President would make such a remark.” Was Felt offended by Nixon’s use of language, or for the fact that Nixon simply cared for Wallace, whom Felt undoubtedly disliked because of Wallace’s politics.
At the time, Woodward was quick to report on the first page of the Washington Report that “there is no evidence whatsoever to indicate that Bremer was a hired killer.” Woodward noted that this was a story that “the FBI wanted out.”(24) Or was it simply a story that he and others (such as Felt at the FBI) wanted out – simply a planted story to stop people from investigating matters further? Investigative researches have shown that Dennis Cassini (Gutman), a CIA operative, met with Bremer at the Elgin Hotel before the attempted assassination. Prior to any chance of questioning Cassini about this, he was discovered dead. He had died of a heroin overdose, though he had no history of drug abuse. Compounding this mysterious scenario, Cassini’s corpse was discovered locked in the trunk of his car.(25) CIA operative Cassini’s unusual death and his relationship to Bremer certainly raises some unsettling questions. In any case, Wallace died a crippled man, and Bremer is still in prison and not allowed visitors. And while Nixon won the presidency, some wonder if Wallace himself might have pulled it off as a third-party candidate.
Woodward and Felt continued to communicate with one another, despite the obvious illegality of Felt revealing information to which he was privy. In order to avoid suspicion to his illegal activities, Felt developed elaborate plans on how he and Woodward would secretly meet. He told Woodward to move a vase by his back window when he wanted to meet, and they would then meet in a garage several miles away, after Woodward changed taxis and walked several blocks to get there. Felt knew what he was doing in his position was unethical, immoral, and illegal; but he undoubtedly wanted Nixon out of office. As Woodward himself pointed out, Felt’s activities “carried substantial risks for him and the FBI.”(26)
“Had he [Felt] been exposed early on, Felt would have been no hero. Technically, it was illegal to talk about grand jury information or FBI files….”(27)
Nixon and his aides knew that it was Felt who was out to destroy them. At one meeting, Nixon had asked Haldeman what should they “do with Felt?”(28) Haldeman responded,
“There’s all kinds of devices. You let him know that you know. Then you transfer him to Ottumwa, Iowa.”(29)
Felt apparently was working concertedly to destroy Nixon. By making the classified information available, despite its illegality, Felt thought it would “help build public and political pressure to make Nixon and his people answerable,” noted Woodward. “He [Felt] had nothing but contempt for the Nixon White House….” “Deep Throat [Felt] was trying … to effect a change in its conduct….”(30)
Ethics seemed something foreign to Felt. A good example of this was what occurred later in the 1970s. He authorized illegal break-ins of people’s homes in the 1970s, and was eventually convicted. For someone of his position to pretend to be unsettled by Nixon’s associates engaging in unethical activities of breaking and entering--and then to engage in similar activities himself--demonstrates hypocrisy of the greatest degree.(31) Of course, it probably wasn’t Nixon’s ethics that bothered Felt so much, as the fact that Nixon didn’t want Jews to “wag the dog”--that is, to determine America’s domestic and Israel-first foreign policies through their illegal and behind-the-scenes political maneuvering.
Of course, today, Felt, Woodward, Bernstein, and others involved in the Watergate scandal are recognized as heroes by some, particularly by their Jewish colleagues. Recently, for instance, the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Washington had a fundraiser with Woodward. People paid as much as $2,500 a plate to hear him speak at a hotel.(32) ------------------------------------- See Mark Farrell’s videos at – http://www.HonestMediaToday.com/products.htm ---------------
