Pro-German Activists Engage in Massive Peaceful Protest to
Dresden Massacre
Counter-protestors Toss Pink Airplanes in the Air at Them

By Mark
Farrell
Thousands of
decent Germans gathered together in Dresden to protest the massacre that
occurred there 60 years ago. It was by far the largest demonstration by
pro-German activists to have occurred in 60 years. Because many were
unrepentant, many Communists falsely accused the gatherers to be “neo-Nazis,” a
claim often used to stifle the debate regarding any such matters.
Dresden was a
peaceful, civilian city during the war. In an effort to show that no German
would go unpunished, it was decided to burn the city to the ground with numerous
incendiary bombs that were unleashed toward the war’s end. On the night of
February 13, 1945, British bombers unleashed two waves of planes that nearly
decimated the city. On the next morning, U.S. planes continued the atrocities.
The
“official” death toll has been put at 35,000, though unofficial estimates, based
on population records and people missing, are much higher—with some saying that
as many as 250,000 may have died. The fires were so fierce in the town due to
the incendiary bombs and massive fires that some bodies were literally turned
into ash.
Lately, more
Germans have grown wise to the vast amount of propaganda to which they’ve been
exposed over the past several decades. A poll conducted by Infratest Dimap for
WDR TV said that the support for the pro-Germany parties in Westphalia-North Rhine was shown to be at 3
percent. This is a percent increase since January, less than half a month ago,
and shows that many more may hold such views but are only starting to admit it.
(In Germany’s recent past, many people have been put in jail and locked away
for saying anything politically incorrect, making many fearful of their
tyrannical government.)
Self-hating
German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder vowed to stop pro-German activists. He said
that it was wrong for them to honor their forefathers who were massacred in the
war, and that only people Germans had killed should be remembered. “We will use
all means to counter these attempts to reinterpret history,” said the hateful
Schroeder, subtly reminding all Germans that they will be locked up in jail if
they dare to question the official version of German history and dare to think
of ever having Free Speech. Since he cannot refute the pro-German
activists' arguments, he must lock them up to silence them.
Water cannons
were used to intimidate the peaceful protestors. They stood undauntedly against
their oppressors and chanted, “Allied bomb terror – then as now! Hiroshima,
Nagasaki, Dresden, and today Baghdad. Never forgive, never forget!”
An additional
10,000 residents lit candles to commemorate all who died during WWII.
Meanwhile,
counter-protestors tossed pink airplanes at the pro-German activists. The
airplanes were tossed to show that somehow it was right to bomb the innocent
civilians who lived in Dresden, which was known to be as beautiful as Florence,
Italy, before the massive bombing raids. The color pink was probably chosen
since so many of the counter-protestors engage in homosexual activities.
Seventy counter-protestors, mostly Communist activists, homosexuals, and anarchists, were
arrested during the pro-German activists gathering.
Some attended
the Church of Our Lady (the baroque Frauenkirche), which had just re-opened.
It had just been rebuilt, having been left untouched from 1945-1990 after the
allied forces had bombed it. On those frightful days in mid-February 1945, many
unfortunate people had gone to the church to escape the bombing and consequently
died.
Many in the
U.S. are sad and sorry that the war ever occurred, and that many innocent
civilians were burned to death in Dresden. However, the government’s official
policy is unrepentant, and an official apology is still waiting for not only
Dresden but the war itself.
During the
course of World War II battles, caused by governments wanting to dispose of
their people for the benefit of their Jewish benefactors, about 60 million
people from all sides were killed.
In the
concentration camps, about 375,000 people died from Typhus and other diseases,
though some also died from malnutrition and old age as well.
Altogether,
about 250,000 of those people who died in the concentration camps were Jews,
though most Jews moved to Israel shortly after the war. Today, 60 years later,
about 4.5 million Jews receive benefits from the war.
