Some Interesting Facts about Race-Baiter Jesse Jackson

By Mark Farrell

Jesse Jackson has recently been in the news, having been part of the group to raise support for the so-called "Jena 6"—six black youths who randomly beat a white kid into unconsciousness, and continued to beat him.  The six black attackers are being prosecuted for their crimes, and Jesse (and thousands of other blacks) took the day off from work, welfare, or rabble-rousing to journey to the city of Jena, LA, and tell the white residents that it should let the poor black attackers go free because they're, well, black.

Jackson is not new to white-hating or race-baiting.  His first openly form of protest against whites occurred back in the 1960s.  The magazine "Life" had an interview with Jackson, who told about his actions when he was younger:

“Once [Jackson] told of his days as a waiter at the Jack Tar Hotel in his hometown of Greenville, S.C.  Just before leaving the kitchen, he would spit in the food of white patrons he hated and then smilingly serve it to them.  He did this, he said, `because it gave me psychological gratification.'”(1)

At the time Jackson admitted to the thing that gave him “psychological gratification,” he was working at Operation Breadbasket.  Operation Breadbasket picketed A&P stores for a while back in the 1960s.  “We dare any cat in the ghetto to take us on,” said Jackson.  “We'll destroy him.”(2)  Jackson's Operation Breadbasket gave A&P a list and was in the process of getting A&P to give blacks special treatment.

The demands that were made, which were given to A&P, sound like the same ones that are still occurring today.  The magazine "Life" told of Jackson's demands that were finally granted by A&P, lest it appear racist or, equally possible, have its stores turned to charcoal by protesting blacks.  The agreement accepted by A&P was responsible for hiring “hundreds of black employees [sic]” (despite qualifications, or lack thereof) and required all A&P supermarkets in black neighborhoods “to use black janitorial, extermination and garbage-collection services”; to put products that were sold by black-owned companies (for example, Jumbo Barbecue Sauce and Joe Louis Milk) in areas of the stores that would generate greater sales; to hire black contractors when building stores in black areas; to advertise many of its products in the black-owned media; to hire black companies that dealt with public relations; to invest in banks owned by blacks; to create “`sensitivity seminars' for A&P executives to attune them to the racial situation”; and, lastly, to hold meetings every month to make sure that A&P was complying with Breadbasket's demands.(3)

It should come as no surprise that Jackson's militancy has made some interesting bedfellows over the years.  Jesse Jackson and Louis Farrakhan “praised each other” and announced that they intend to work together with other black activists to battle against the problems encountered by “black America.”(4)

Jesse Jackson appears to be good friends with Louis Farrakhan.  Farrakhan says that he has “socialized with [Jackson], been in his home, [and] sat at his table.”(5)

“We have fought for rights, for favors, for assistance,” said Jackson.  “Now the name of the game is achieving and using power.”(6)

When giving lectures to blacks, he has said that they should “seize the system to change the system.”(7)

Past Federal audits of Jackson's Operation PUSH (People United to Save Humanity)  purportedly discovered that 28 percent of the $4.9 million in federal grants, paid for by unknowing taxpayers, was either unaccounted for or was misspent.  Reportedly, the government had been attempting to get the $1.4 million, which was either improperly spent or not accounted, back.(8)

Many Jews also don't like Jackson. That is because in an interview with a reporter, Reverend Jackson referred to New York as “Hymie town” and to all people of the Jewish faith as “Hymies.”(9)

That was one of many anti-Jewish comments that Jackson has said over the years.(10)

Jackson has always blamed “racism” for all his problems.  For instance, he claimed that he quit attending the University of Illinois in 1960 because the school discriminated against blacks in sports.  The now-defunct magazine Quest/79 had an interview with Jackson in which Jackson told his interviewer what allegedly happened at the University of Illinois:

“But at Illinois, [Jackson] quickly learned what Big Ten life was like for aspiring black quarterbacks in the fall of 1959.  He was advised to become a receiver or a running back; blacks weren't wanted for positions of leadership on the gridiron.  The next year, Jackson enrolled at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, a predominantly black school, where he passed for [sic] touchdowns. . . .”(11)

That appears to be a blatant falsehood.  In 1960, the University of Illinois's quarterback was black.  The book Profiles of Deception maintains that Jackson left the University of Illinois because he did not have a choice.  He was allegedly caught in the act of plagiarism.(12)

Now, perhaps you can understand why most white folks in the know have but two words for this spittin', white-hating, lying, race-baiting, anti-white-discrimination-wanting Jesse Jackson: Go Away!
