Here is a recent letter from Siegfried Verbeke. It was sent to a friend of mine in Rome. Please pass it along to everyone you know, it sounds as if he might need some financial assistance. He certainly deserves our support.
 
  
Dear Friend,
 
thanks for writing me. I'm 65 (almost) have been married, 3 sons, 2 grandchildren. The "consumers" now, forget that they have a fine time, thanks to those German soldiers and European volunteers, who protected Europe from Soviet-heaven!
 
I get still sick EVERY EVENING looking how they are crooked, German-bashing. Today Germans are completely brainwashed.
 
I am now in jail for 7 months - German prison (U-Haft) is really inhumane. Mostly I have to stay in my 8m by 2m cell 23 hrs on 24. I cannot call my fiancée. She neither I are mummies and we miss each other. Like every woman she is sensitive.
 
After the Mannheim Prosecutor; I'm now accused by his fellow Prosecutor of Duesseldorf, and I am afraid this is the beginning of a series of charges.
 
I'm reluctant, but finally I have to ask for financial help, especially for my (future) wife.
